Day trips in Morocco

EXCURSION TO ESSAOUIRA :

Day trip to essaouira Departure at 8 am. After about 3 hours, we reach the ancient port of Mogador, built by the Portuguese in a narrow peninsula with a huge sand crescent. Perfectly sheltered by stunning French-built walls of the eighteenth century, the city is largely pedestrian and is divided into various districts for design in grid form. From the top of Skala you can see the colorful fishing port and Spanish fortresses and guns.
Essaouira is also famous for its fine handicrafts, especially wooden objects (tuya) perfectly interspersed with lemon wood, ebony, nacre or copper or silver threads. If you like fish, enjoy a meal in the port. Evening return to Marrakech.

EXCURSION TO OUARZAZATE THROUGH THE HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS

This long tour will drive us through kasbahthe High Atlas by an impressive mountain road that winds through the picturesque valleys and numerous Berber villages and gemstones sellers up to Tizi N’Tichka, the highest mountain pass in the Atlas to 2,260 m. In the south, beyond these impressive mountains covered with snow from November to April, there a different semi-desert landscape emerges, dotted along the river on the way to Ouarzazate with Kasbahs and small houses of mud and straw that contrast sharply with the emerald green fields around him. The visit to Ouarzazate, a modern military town, built by the French on the edge of the Sahara, including the former home of Pacha Glaoui, the kasbah of Ait Benhadu Taourirt and a picturesque old mountain town declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco and famous among film directors, and Atlas studies, making it one of the most interesting visits
